Where Are We?

Maison Bois Fleurie is a French house offering self-catering (Gite) and Chambre d'Hote (bed and breakfast) accomodation. The house is situated in the small village of Souvigne, that resides just 10 minutes drive off the A10 Paris to Bordeaux AutoRoute between La Rochelle (to the west) and Poitiers (to the north east). What Do We Offer?

As mentionned above, Maison Bois Fleurie offers both self-catering accomodation in our beautifully restored 'Gite Fleurie' and 'Studio Gite', as well as Chambre d'Hote (bed and breakfast) accomodation in our main guest house. What Is There To Do?

Maison Bois Fleurie is situated in a beautiful part of rural France. The guest house itself, has beautiful gardens (Maison Bois Fleurie site is approximately 2 hectares), a quaint old chapel, a 5 x 10 metre swimming pool and BBQ equipment. As well as this, the surrounding area has the following attractions:

• Lakes and rivers for swimming, fishing and boating
• Interesting walks and cycle routes
• Good restuarants in the area offering fine French wine and cuisine
• 'Futuroscope' at Poitiers, which is considered to be the finest theme park in Europe
• Quaint villages and rural French towns. E.G: The nearby 15th century town of St. Maixent l'Ecole with its colourful market
• The beautiful seaside town of La Rochelle on the atlantic coast is just 50 minutes drive away
